Senior UX Designer
Summary
The Alexa UX team is seeking a creative and customer-obsessed Senior UX Designer to define and shape the future of Alexa Personality experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create world-class, user-centered designs based on market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability research
- Collaborate directly with Conversation Designers, Visual Designers, Motion Designers, and the Research team to ensure a consistent and delightful experience across all customer touch points
- Partner with the Product Management team to translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements
- Collaborate directly with software engineers and data scientists to bring the resulting designs and vision to market
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes
- Develop or direct motion and interaction design concepts
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
- Present design work to the design team, product team, and leadership for review and feedback
Requirements
- 6+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
